About Carla
BACKGROUND
For over 25 years I have accompanied people on their life journeys. I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds helping them come to peace with themselves, others and the world in which they live. My formal education includes a B.A. in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of South Carolina. I developed a private practice in Raleigh, NC as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 13 years before moving to Virginia. I then worked as a therapist for a residential treatment facility before starting my Eco-therapy/mentoring practice which I continued in Vermont. When I moved to Maple Hill Farm in Shehawken, PA in the summer of 2009, I planned to continue my work as Eco-therapist, mentor, and facilitator, but decided instead to become a full time care-taker and witness to life.
